Kirsty McColl’s mum ends her campaign to have the person responsible for her death brought to justice?
Were you disappointed to here this? Kirsty was killed by a motor boat whilst scuba diving in Cancun Mexico with her two children. The Motor boat was in a restricted area, and is owned by one of Mexico’s richest people.
A minor employee admitted to steering the boat at 1 knot and was fined £60, yet many witnesses have come forward to say the owner was at the controls and was doing at least 28 knots.
Kirsty’s mum has exhausted the limits of the Mexican legal system and has admitted that she will never see the Person she thinks is responsible for her daughters death in court.

Oh I hadn’t heard that news and as a big fan of Kirsty McColl’s (one of the sweetest voices ever) I’m very disappointed. I knew her family had been campaigning to see justice and knew from the beginning they were facing an uphill battle. I’m extremely sorry that they haven’t got the result they deserve.
