What Southern california Lakes can i swim and raft in?
The boat is a Sevylor Fish Hunter 360 inflatable boat/raft. I would like to know lakes which i can row and swim in without breaking any rules. I live in LA. Lakes in Southern California are preferable, but I am open to other suggestions as well. Thanks in advance!
There are lots of lakes that you can raft in. The problem comes up when you want to swim in them. Most of the lakes in your area are also the water reservoirs for your water system. Here’s a link to a website down below that tells you what is allowed in the various lakes in Southern California, but realize that if it doesn’t say swimming chances are you can’t. They’ll let you use jet skis, power boats and fish in them, but they ban swimming. They do enforce those rules so pick the lakes that specifically say you can swim.
