Motor for inflatable boat?
I was thinking about purchasing a Sevvlor inflatable raft, but I’m torn between what kind of motor I should use. It says it can only accept up to a 2 hp gas motor. Where can I find one that is compatible, and how fast can I expect the boat to go?

These inflatables are for playing in very familiar waters… they are not for speed or for unknown waters with any potential hazards, as they will rip and puncture very easy. Putting a gas engine on one of these, would be like putting $3,000 Michelin tires a $10 clunker auto.
It is certainly not a question of “how fast can you expect to go” but rather how long can you expect to stay afloat before you get a puncture or tear.
If you must get a motor, get a trolling motor… it will be much-much cheaper then a gas engine, and you will easily be able to transfer it into another boat and use the battery for other things.
But, you need to put your money in a better boat – at least if you want to use it more then one season.
