gar fish good or bad plz help?!?!?
i got a inflatable boat Stansport 2-Person Boat that i am going on in a man made lake between house. its pretty big. im doing it just for fun but i heard their are gar fish in the lake. they saw them and said they where some what big. i want to know if they will come up to the boat and attack or if i go in the water what will they do, and if they are mean or nice fish?
They are VERY UGLY!! So therefore they do look scary , and they travel in packs , so that makes it that much more intimidating ; however – I went swimming a creek a couple of years back that was FULL of Gar Fish ; they left us alone ; and we left them alone. The only time that I have seen them act vicious is when they get caught on your fishing line ; that makes them VERY mad and they fight hard to get off. Hope this helps you!!
