Any opinion on Coleman Inflatable boats for still water?
In particular, I’m looking at Coleman Colossus 3-person boat (we’re two adults + 1 child who is currently 4). Even the retail seems too low ($60). Anyone own this? Any opinions? I’m looking to take this out on lakes in Western Maryland for cruising and maybe fishing (although we’ve never fished before, and not sure if we’ll do it). Are there regulations for (against) inflatable boats in state parks (and such)?
Those inflatable dinghy’s are great. I have a Seahawk 400, a 4 person boat that cost me $96. I’ve never seen the Coleman before but it’s a quality brand so it shouldn’t be too bad. But if you can find the Seahawk I’d definitely recommend that on experience, very sturdy, portable, with good collapsible paddles.
I’ve taken mine out on state parks, there shouldn’t be any regulations against them. Probably depends on the park though.
