Intex Seahawk 2 good for hiking trips?
how heavy is it? see my best friend and I are hiking up the beach and we have four pier/boat lanes to get around. And we dont want to walk all the way around the large towns to cross. So we ether have to try and swim across the lane or get a raft and raft around the peir from the beach. Were going to be hiking for 4 days are these things compact friendly?
i should also mention its the two man one….but wow 41 pounds? really? the shipping info claims its only 4 pounds….
Intex Seahawk II: 41.6 Pounds. If you plan to have your friend carry your tent, sleeping bag, food, and all other gear, then you can haul a boat. If you plan to go by water for portages of less than a mile, then you need a kayak or canoe. The Seahawk is not an efficient craft for the water.
