What is the difference between an RIB inflatable and one that is not RIB?
I live on a low bank waterfront with long low tide beach. I need a light boat that I can attach wheels to in order to wheel over the beach to the water. After months of research I have narrowed it down to an inflatable, about 8 to 10 feet in length. (there are four people in my family).
My question is this: Should I get a RIB or not? I’m not sure what the RIB will afford me, although I know I could afford a non-RIB easier.
We will be using the boat for short trips and sometimes the water gets a touch rough. (We’d put a 9.9 motor on it).
Any help?

The RIB, or rigid inflatable boat, is a much more durable boat than an ordinary inflatable, even with a rigid bottom. It will weather better, handle better in a rough situation, be a better boat for a longer length of time. It can handle the weight of a 9.9 engine better also.
