Does anyone else get this weird feeling on roller coasters?
I am not afraid of roller coasters. In fact, I love them.
Well, I’m only afraid of drops because I get this nasty feeling when I fall. It’s not from my stomach but from my legs or something. When it drops, I shake a lot… it’s like I’m getting a seisure. I have to pressure my legs against something or else I jerk really badly. Once, my friend asked me if I was okay… yeah, that’s how bad it was.
When I went on Colossus at Six Flags, it was horrible! There were so many drops… I felt like I was going crazy.
Anyway, I might go back and I want to try Scream!, but that ride has no floor, so I can’t put pressure on my legs onto anything. … Will I just be jerking through the whole way? …
Anyway, does anyone know how to stop this because I’ve tried to not pressure my legs, and I just start jerking really badly on drops. Like, even on those boat things that just swing back and forth… it’s kind of weird.
It’s just really bad nerves I see what you’re talking about. Only when something similar happened to me it was on the stand-up ride Vortex at Carowinds. I could not stop shaking until I was off the ride for a few seconds. It usually doesn’t happen the second or third time you ride something though. If it does you might to ask someone a way to calm your nerves down before riding anything else.
