I turned my water pump off. Set everything back to the way it was and the water won’t come back on…?
I flipped a lever and twisted two knobs and my water turned off. I put everything back to the way is was and I’m getting no water. The lever is set to the “on” position and I’ve tried twisting the knobs each way. Should there be some kind of reset button that makes the pump start up? I know nothing about this kind of thing. I’m a renter.
You probably need to prime the pump. While the water wasn’t running, it slowly drained and was replaced with air. As it is a water pump and not an air pump, it won’t work without the water. Read the manual for the pump on how to prime it, that is put the water back in. You will probably need to contact the landlord about this one.
