What type of kiddie pool is safest to use with RES turtles?
I found a kiddie pool that holds close to 500 gallons of water and I want to use it with my res turtles. I am planning to put a fence around it to keep unwanted visitors out. They really need a bigger habitat right now and an outisde enclosure is best for them right now. I will bring them in at night and in the winter (here in Cali.) but I want to know which kiddie pool is best to keep them in during the daytime.

Concering a filter which would be the best (canister, internal, etc. and what brand?)
Also I was thinking stock tanks but those are out of my budget.
As for a man-made outdoor pond I might move within the next 6 months so I’m sketchy on that idea and the place I move to might be a rented house.
If you’re going to put them outside, why not look into an outdoor pond? These are much heavier materials and are very durable. They even make powerful filters for these ponds. There is info on Austins for making outdoor ponds…
