Charles Vergos Rendezvous BBQ-Memphis, TN?

I went 4 the 1st time yesterday! Horrible! No one showed us to our seat, the hostess just pointed to it! Our waiter seemed inconvenienced by our presence. He never made eye contact with us! When we asked a question, he answered in a christmas-carol-sing-along type way. Then when we asked 4 drinks he made the hand beckon sign (like gimme!) (this was to card us). We sat next to the drink station in which we heard servers joking about quote- “getting a nut off” in someone’s wife. I didn’t have kids with me, but this was completely inappropriate! The plates are overpriced, the servings are minute including the “shot glass” full of sides! The decor was old, dingy and dusty! Oh, the ribs were tender. The taste was mediocre, at best! I’m not a fan of the dry rub (it tastes like taco seasoning mix). Overall, horrible! Needless to say I won’t be going back! Have u ever been? What was your experience?

We just went recently w/ a wedding party and all are from MO. I couldn’t agree w/ you more the food was expensive not to mention the horrid service and the food was not very good…I have no idea why they are still in business!!
