Decorating my room with VERRY Suttle Romantic Beach Theme???
My walls are a light peach kind of like sand, and I was looking for a corner canopy that goes over the bed. I could get a light blue cover for the bed, and have a couple of decretive candles that go on shelves above the bed. the candles have sand, and shells in them. What else can I do to this room? I don’t want it to go overboard. I want it very relaxing and romantic. We have small children, so keep that in mind (not alot of candles. lol). I don’t like the rooms that have shells, and oars all over them. Like i said, I want it to be very suttle, more of what fabric colors to play with. Also what color should i make my canopy?
i think you’re on the right track with the light blue and peachy sand, maybe try coral or a sea green, as accents to compliment the peach and light blue…add pillows, fluffy pillows tend to send out a “romantic” vibe, and i know you said you don’t like shells. but perhaps, you can buy a starfsh (they sell them at wal-mart, target, in packages, ect.) and get it framed in one of those deep set frames…and have the back of the frame be coral or beachy sandy…that’ll add alittle bit of beachy-ness and slight romance to the room =)
