How do I go about becoming a deck hand on a charter fishing boat?
Looking to make a change in my life since so far, I’ve made a pretty big mess of it. I always dreamed of being a captain of a deep sea fishing boat, and now I wanna make it happen. Looking to relocate to the Corpus Christi TX area
How do I make it happen?
You do it just like EVERYONE ELSE has to do it.. you go to the COMMERCIAL DOCKS and you TALK to the CAPTAINS and beg to be hired. If you are going to move to Corpus, then drive up to PORT ARANSAS or ARANSAS PASS or ROCKPORT and hit the commercial docks. I lived in the Marina on Corpus Christi bay in INGLESIDE for a year and loved it.. and I hated going to Corpus for MANY reasons.. so look around the area before you move to Corpus or you WILL be sorry.
