Do You Think This Is Pathetic……EU Rule on Fishing.?
The EU is preparing a bill to stop sea angling from small boats….and from the shore……In other words you wont be able to walk to your local beach and use a fishing rod and line or take out your little dinghy to catch a fish…..This is yet another pathetic,childish law that the EU are going to force onto us………..We don’t have to sit back and accept this stupidity and simple-mindedness from a bunch of child minded idiots………….Please save our country from these laws, and vote …”UK IP”……Its got to make sense…www.ukip.org

This is a very distressing story really, I heard about that a couple of week back, but I’d forgotten all about it. They were also going to make ‘anglers’ weigh in their catch and register it against the UK’s quota for fishing, and therefore professional fishermen / trawlermen would have their catch quota reduced because of amateur British anglers.
It’s all very worrying, and I myself was planning to take up serious angling, as I love it, but I haven’t fished for many years. It seems that the other EU countries can take fish from our waters, but our own people will be told that we cannot! Effectively, there will be another EU department of NON-JOBS set up to police this ludicrous rule.
UKIP would impose a 12 mile exclusion zone around the UK if elected so that foreigners cannot steel our fish, and therefore there would be plenty for us, and our fishing industry would thrive again, and anglers would be allowed to still enjoy their sport.
